Rehlie Bro's - Lafayette, In
This was a very long day to say least. Show started around noon and ended at midnight. There were alot of cover bands that played early and much to our suprise we did not know this was going to happen so there ended up being about four bands out of twelve that were orginal.
We did enjoy the band called Surface out of Fort Wayne IN. They took the stage before us and set the tempo for the rest of the night. ( WOW)!! There was finally some energy in the crowd and they started moving forward. Then Boomslang took the stage and was knocking the walls down until about midway through the fourth song the P.A. system sort of went quiet on us but we all looked at each other and just kept on kicking their asses!!! We sold alot of our new T-shirts which by the way are fucking awesome! Hell yeah!
Thanks to my new friends at Arizona T-shirts, who squirted these out in about 12 days. How's that for production. (thanks Nick & Rosemary). Back to the show, Rehlie Bro's is one of the best venues in the midwest. Nestled down in Lafayette IN. There is alot to do at this place such as Pool, Indoor Volleyball court with sand, Lava Bar, Resturant, Two outdoor bars, Video games Galore!!!! Also great hospitality and clean bathrooms!!!
Can you believe they had two stages going on back to back all day!!! Tom Rehlie the owner of the club is talking more Metalfest's this year and quite possibly outdoor shows. Also thanks for our hometown fans who made the trip over it made for a great night!!! We will see you all real soon thanks!!!!
